My name is Olivia Ale, I am a landscape architect and independent researcher in Post-Planetary Design, based in Stockholm, Sweden and I am deeply fascinated by the concept of "nature" in all the ways it teaches, dares, scares, intrigues and enchants us - from the very small to the very large. No limit.

My work runs through landscape architecture, urban research, experience design, philosophy, speculative architecture and socially engaged design, looking into and addressing different aspects that embed and govern our collective choices: from design practices that enlarge our view of sustainability, high-tech and its use through cultural differences to new ways of attributing value with emerging economy.

I am particularly drawn by all those things that seem impossible. The more mind-bending, the better.; the more abstract, the more inspiring to find the concrete in it; but perhaps the most beautiful I find nowadays is to discover magic keys that unlock collective imagination, able to drive a meaningful experience of our episodes of change.

In my other life, I am a passionate climber and hat collectionneur.
